Egypt is keen to boost friendly relations with Belarus, Speaker of the House of Representatives Hanfy Gebaly said Tuesday.
The speaker’s remarks came during his meeting with Igor Sergeyenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus, and his accompanying delegation.
Gebaly underlined the need to enhance partnership between Egypt and Belarus in economic, trade and industrial fields in light of growing relations between both countries.
Both sides reviewed ways to foster cooperation between the parliaments of Egypt and Belarus.
During the meeting, Sergeyenko handed over a written message from the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on ways to foster bilateral ties.
