Egyptian Ambassador in Baghdad Ahmed Samir discussed with Iraqi Transport Minister Razzaq Al Saadawi promoting bilateral co-operation in the transport sector.
During the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador stressed the importance of this vital sector, expressing keenness on transferring Egypt’s expertise in this sector, particularly in supporting Iraq to implement projects to develop the transport sector.
The Foreign Ministry said on its Facebook page on Friday that the Iraqi transport minister underlined the depth of ties between the two countries, saying he is looking forward to benefiting from the Egyptian expertise in the transportation domain and to expand the activity of Egyptian companies operating in this sector in Iraq.
He also lauded the performance of the Egyptian companies operating in the Iraqi transportation sector.
