Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity and Chairperson of of Board of Trustees of the General Foundation for Social Solidarity Nevine el-Kabbag, said that the Foundation provided cash and in-kind aid totaling EGP 32,500 million throughout the year.
In press statements, she said Saturday the aid includes 7,500 million pounds during the holy month of Ramadan in food packages for a number of beneficiaries in 14 governorates.
She added that this fell within the framework of supporting and empowering poor families.
