CAIRO – Egypt’s Housing Minister Assem el-Gazar said that a total of dlrs 142 million was paid for serious reservations of the 8th phase of “Beit al Watan” for the land of the Egyptians abroad.
Gazar said that the committee concerned with the project is currently reviewing the allocation papers to start recording the transactions and allocating lands for reservers according to the rules of the project.
As many as 1,477 of those who reserved lands agreed to pay 25% of its worth in US dollar, while the rest will be paid in three equal instalments, he said, adding that 20 of the reservers will pay the total value of their plots of land in US dollar.
