Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Abdel Meguid Saqr, reaffirmed that the Egyptian Armed Forces possess a state-of-the-art weaponry system capable of safeguarding the nation’s strategic borders.

Speaking on the critical role of national defense, General Saqr emphasized that protecting Egypt’s sovereignty is a sacred duty that demands constant vigilance and preparedness. He underscored the unwavering commitment of military personnel to ensuring the country’s security and stability.

The minister made these remarks while attending a Ramadan iftar banquet alongside members of the Central Military Zone, Border Guard forces, paratroopers, and special forces. The event was attended by senior military officials, including Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa.
