Egypt’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohamed Zaki met on Wednesday with a number of paratroopers and greeted them on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
Attending the meeting was Commander of the paratroopers Maj. Gen. Atef Ibrahim Madi, who stressed the Armed Forces’ continued support for the paratroopers.
The paratroopers are always on the highest alert and in an increased state of readiness to carry out all missions, Madi said.
Zaki, for his part, conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s best regards to the paratroopers, greatly appreciating their sacrifices and high efficiency in performing all tasks.
