Egyptian Ambassador in Paris Alaa Youssef said on Tuesday that last week’s meeting of the coordination committee concerned with the country co-operation programme between Egypt and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) was an important chance to assess progress achieved so far.
Youssef, who doubles as Egypt’s permanent representative to UNESCO, told MENA the meeting reflected efforts of the Egyptian government to maximise benefits from the co-operation programme with the OECD.
Egypt is keen on periodically communicating and coordinating with the OECD to remove any obstacles facing the implementation of the co-operation programme, the diplomat said.
