Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and visiting Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Le Anh Tuan discussed on Thursday ways to strengthen bilateral ties, as Cairo hosts the 11th round of political consultations between the two countries.
During the meeting, Abdelatty commended the notable progress in Egyptian-Vietnamese relations, particularly following the upgrading of bilateral ties to a comprehensive partnership in 2025.
He also expressed Egypt’s keenness to host the sixth session of the Joint Governmental Committee, as well as the third session of the Joint Sub-Committee for Industrial and Trade Co-operation in Vietnam.
