Bid to boost economic, trade ties with Bahrain 12 - Egyptian Gazette

The first meeting of the Egyptian-Bahraini governmental committee for trade, economic, scientific and technological co-operation will be launched tomorrow at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance in the government district of the New Administrative Capital.

Minister of Finance Mohamed Maeet, and Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahraini Minister of Finance and National Economy will chair the meeting.

The meeting is aimed to discuss a number of aspects of cooperation and joint initiatives between Egypt and Bahrain in areas of paramount importance economically, scientifically and technologically.

The holding of this meeting comes in light of the keenness of the two brotherly countries to achieve development goals and meet the aspirations of their peoples.

Maeet confirmed that we look forward to advancing relations between Egypt and Bahrain in all fields in a way that contributes to increasing trade exchange between the two countries and achieving sustainable economic development.

For his part, Bahraini Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s keenness to develop aspects of co-operation with Egypt and push it towards more advanced levels in all fields, especially in the economic and investment fields.
