Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh el-Hefny praised the high level of competence and advanced global ranking of EgyptAir pilots thanking them for their efforts and dedication.
In a speech Monday – during an annual Iftar banquet of the Egyptian Airlines Pilots Association – delivered on his behalf by Montaser Manaa, Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation – the minister of civil aviation urged Egyptian pilots to maintain the level of progress they attained in terms of competence.
For his part, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Ahmed Adel said, Egyptian pilots, especially of EgyptAir are the foundation of the civil aviation system.
The Iftar ceremony honored the minister of civil aviation and presented him with a shield, that was received by the chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company.
The association also honored pilots who reached retirement age for their expertise that has enriched the field of civil aviation.
