Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production General Ashraf Salem Zaher, sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory.
Zaher said the anniversary would remain “a symbol of the enduring values of the Egyptian nation and its possession of the strength and capability to uphold the will of the homeland and move it toward the future.”
He added that members of the Armed Forces, while extending their greetings on the national occasion, reaffirm their determination and belief in the sanctity of the duties entrusted to them, upholding the spirit of the 10th of Ramadan and October 6 victory, and maintaining their oath of loyalty to Egypt and its people.
Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa also sent a similar cable to President Sisi on the occasion.
Zaher issued directives to greet commanders, officers, military personnel, soldiers, peacekeeping troops and civilian employees of the Armed Forces on the anniversary.
