Egyptian Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki sent a cable to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday to greet him on the 50th anniversary of the October War victory.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar sent a similar cable to Sisi on the golden jubilee of the victory.
Army commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, troops taking parting in peacekeeping missions and the civilian military workforce should all be greeted on this occasion, Zaki and Askar directed.
