The Arabic movie “Souad” has been selected as the opening film at the prestigious Hollywood Arab Film Festival (HAFF), which will kick off on April 25 in Los Angeles, announced the HAFF’s organizing committee.
On its official Facebook page, the HAFF’s organizing committee said that the film will be screened on April 27 at Universal Cinema AMC and in the presence of the movie’s director Ayten Amin.
The film, which is an Egyptian-Tunisian co-production, revolves around the relationship of two teenage sisters in Egypt’s Zagazig governorate. One of them is leading a virtual life, which she keeps as a secret from their conservative family.
