CAIRO – Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit praised the close co-operation between the pan-Arab organisation and the Arab Parliament.
This came during a meeting he had at the Arab League premises with Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Al-Asoomi within the framework of the two sides’ keenness to foster co-operation and coordination for the benefit of the Arab world and joint Arab action.
The Arab League chief said co-operation between both sides is based on the integration of Arab diplomatic efforts and the efforts of Arab parliamentary diplomacy in addressing various regional and international files.
