Head of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) Abdel Moneim el Tarras said on Wednesday that Egypt, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, gives high priority to boosting co-operation with other Arab countries.
Tarras made the remarks during the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the AOI and the Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC) in the field of defense industries.
The deal aims at promoting mutual co-operation and exchanging expertise in the fields of training human cadres and carrying out scientific research to serve the field of defense industries.
EDCC Chairman Matar Al Romaithi praised the great capabilities of the AOI in the area of modern electronic industries, expressing his company’s appreciation of the partnership with the AOI.
