CAIRO – The Ambassadors programme of the ‘Enhancing Climate Change Adaptation in the North Coast and Nile Delta Regions in Egypt’ Project primarily aims to train the ambassadors on transferring the idea and principles of integrated coastal zone management to its executive agencies, said Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hani Sewilam.
In a statement, the minister said that the programme covers a number of training issues related to the fields of communications and mass media, among others, to qualify leading figures capable of overcoming relevant challenges and enforcing the principles of participation and integration with partners to realise the desired goals.
The Irrigation Ministry works on expanding the use of nature-based solutions in the coastal areas, the minister added.
