Al-Azhar University has been included in several international university rankings this year, including the Shanghai University Ranking, Al Azhar University official Ahmed Shafaei said.
In a press release on Saturday, he said this is the first time for the Al-Azhar University to be included in the Shanghai University Ranking.
He referred to the improvement in the university’s research quality and in publishing periodicals in 2019 and 2020.
