Al-Azhar pavilion at Cairo International Book Fair Saturday started celebrating the International Day of Human Fraternity, which falls on Feb. 4 annually.
Today, the pavilion witnessed several activities and events that express the message of Al-Azhar to spread the culture of tolerance among people at large.
The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 4 February as the International Day of Human Fraternity.
The declaration “Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together,” co-authored by Pope Francis and Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed El Tayeb is a model for interfaith harmony and human solidarity.
