The Egyptian Armed Forces have announced the admission requirements and minimum qualifying scores for the Air Force College as part of the October 2026 intake for the Egyptian Military Academy and military colleges.

The announcement was made during a press conference attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Dr Diaa Rashwan, Minister of State for Information, and commanders of the Armed Forces’ main branches.

The Air Force College will accept applicants holding the General Secondary Certificate, the Al-Azhar Secondary Certificate, or equivalent qualifications from both the science and literary streams.

Applicants from the science stream must obtain a minimum overall score of 60%, while those from the literary stream must achieve at least 65%. Candidates must also not exceed 21 years of age as of 1 November 2026.

The programme lasts four academic years.

Students enrolled in the Pilot Specialisation, open to both science and literary students, will graduate with a Bachelor of Aviation and Air Military Sciences and receive the Pilot Badge.

In addition, science-stream graduates will earn a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (Aviation Information Systems), while literary-stream graduates will receive a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration (Aviation and Airport Management). All pilot graduates will also obtain an internationally recognised Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

The Air Military Sciences Specialisation, available exclusively to science-stream students, awards graduates a Bachelor of Air Military Sciences, the Air Military Sciences Badge, and a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (Aviation Information Systems), in addition to an internationally recognised Airport Control Fundamentals Certificate.
