28 container ships, cargo vessels handled at Egypt’s Damietta port

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 28 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Egyptian Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released Saturday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 12,457 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 47,375 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 133,395 tons.
