27 container, cargo ships handled at Damietta Port

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 27 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on Friday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total volume of exported goods from the port reached 16,950 tons.

Meanwhile, the total volume of imported goods into the port recorded 45,454 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 295,649 tons.
