The International Monetary Fund (IMF) scheduled its meeting for Egypt’s new loan worth $3 billion on December 16, according to IMF’s online executive board meetings calendar on Tuesday.
In October, Egypt reached an agreement with the IMF at the staff level on the components of a new loan program to support its economic reform plans.
According to the Planning Ministry’s data, Egypt’s economic growth rate reached 3.2 per cent in the last quarter of the fiscal year of 2021/2022.
