CAIRO – The Central Agency for public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) showed on Tuesday that the Egyptian exports to COMESA countries increased by 32.4% recording 2.3 billion dollars during the first nine months of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020 as it recorded 1.7 billion dollars.
The imports to Egypt from COMESA countries recorded 901 million dollars within the first nine months of 2021 with an increase of 25% compared with the same period in 2020 which recorded 721 million dollars.
Also, the trade exchange between Egypt and COMESA countries increased to 3.1 billion dollars during the first nine months in 2021 in comparison to 2.4 billion dollars in the same period in 2020.
