Manpower Minister Mohmed Saafan said Saturday Egypt constantly contacts the Iraqi authorities to determine their needs for Egyptian labour.
“The Iraqi labor market was attracting a large number of Egyptian workers. We hope to restore those rates,” the minister said during a press conference.
Egypt is keen to export qualified labour to all countries, he added.
An electronic link system to regulate the legitimate entry of Egyptian workers will be applied in Iraq and all countries that require Egyptian labour, Saafan said.
