39 ships, cargo vessels handled at Damietta Port over past 24 hours

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 39 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at the Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 39,925 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 37,266 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at public sector warehouses registered 175,405 tons while wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 154,854 tons.
