28 containers, cargo ships handled at Damietta Port

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 28 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total volume of exported goods from the port reached 20,575 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 56,353 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 340,370 tons.
