Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi described on Thursday the government’s relocation to the New Administrative Capital (NAC) as a ‘real development’ in Egypt’s administrative apparatus.

He added during a meeting in Cairo with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and a host of other government officials that civil servants underwent training so that they can easily be part of the modern management systems utilized in state institutions in the NAC.

During the meeting, the president reviewed the government’s plan to relocate ministries and state agencies and institutions to the NAC, Presidency Spokesman, Ahmed Fahmi, said.

He quoted the president as saying that relocating the government to the new capital would establish an efficient and effective administrative apparatus characterized by the highest degrees of governance.
This is part, the president said, of efforts to build and develop the Egyptian state.
He underscored the importance of hard work from all citizens on the road to creating a better future for Egyptians.

President Sisi was, meanwhile, briefed about progress on the implementation of the first phase of the Decent Life initiative and preparations for the second phase of the initiative.

The president gave commands for maintaining cooperation and coordination between state agencies, Fahmi said.
“Decent Life is the largest initiative in Egypt’s history in terms of its scope and impact,” Fahmi quoted the president as saying.

The president also expected the initiative to improve all aspects of life in the Egyptian countryside where almost 60% of Egypt’s population lives, the presidency spokesman said.
