Egypt’s information Technology Development Agency (ITIDA) is supporting 8 technology startups at the 4YFN startup event of the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry, GSMA MWC, to help them expand business network and connect them with investors looking for cutting-edge founders and latest technology solutions.
The 4YFN (4 Years From Now) event; which took place from 28th of June until the 1st of July, was aimed to support startups, investors and companies to connect and launch new business ventures together.
Capitalising on the lively networking event, ITIDA joined the international gathering with the homegrown startups as part of its mandates to support local enterprises and entrepreneurs, highlight Egypt’s robust and diverse start-up ecosystem, and showcase how the country is fast-becoming a regional hub for entrepreneurship and digital innovation.
The exhibition was aimed to bring about partnership and investment opportunities, in addition to opening up markets for the Egyptian startups and scale up their disruptive business models.
The list of the exhibiting promising Egyptian startups to watch include: Adzily Cardoo, ElGameya, E-POD, Paynas, Talents Arena, Webville, WideBot.
All of the startups who participated in the event had an opportunity to meet and connect with glocal talent, in addition to pitching and networking with top global Venture Capital firms.
The 4YFN exhibition featured hundreds of startups and established companies from across the globe. Additionally, the exhibition incorporated a series of keynotes by influencers and pioneers, discussions among top experts of the industry, as well as insightful startup pitches.
