Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit condemned an escalation campaign by the Israeli occupation in cities of the West Bank.
In a statement on Wednesday, Abul Gheit warned of repercussions of targeting Palestinians and killing them in “cold blood.”
He called on the world community to intervene to protect civilians in the Palestinian lands and stop the Israeli killing mechanism.
The AL secretary general called for providing international protection for the Palestinians.
Posing threats to security of the Palestinian people may lead to a violent explosion of the situation that will not serve the interests of any party, added Abul Gheit.
