Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas issued a decision appointing Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud El-Refai, head of the General Union of Air Transport Workers, as a member of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Holding Company, instead of Hassan Shehata, who was assigned to the Ministry of Manpower.
El-Refai was the head of the union committee of EgyptAir for Maintenance and Engineering, and then he was promoted as head of the general union working in air transport, succeeding Hassan Shehata, after he was appointed as Minister of Manpower.
