Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the need for continuing efforts exerted by the cabinet’s higher medical committee to offer necessary medical care to citizens in implementation of directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The premier was following up on the committee’s efforts exerted during the first half of 2022 through a report, submitted by the committee’s chairman Hossam el-Masry.
Madbouli praised efforts exerted by the committee to alleviate the suffering of patients and their families and provide them with all possible support.
He also praised high-level cooperation among health bodies concerned to respond to complaints.
Masry, for his part, said 713 surgeries were conducted in the relevant period.
He added that the committee took necessary measures for 392 cases of oncology and gamma knife and provided medications for 361 cases.
