Coinciding with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Cairo, a new documentary entitled Reformer Prince was released this week. The documentary features Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s achievements since his tenure and his 2030 vision, which is reflected on Saudi and Arab society, and how it changed the rest of the world’s view of the Saudi Kingdom.

The documentary deals with the role of the Crown Prince in developing the Kingdom’s economy and transforming it from oil-dependent to diversified, with sources of production and investment in agriculture, tourism, entertainment and manufacturing.

The film also reveals the Prince’s plan to empower Saudi women and support them in obtaining their rights in the face of old customs and traditions that have barred them from the most basic rights.

The documentary tells the story of how the Crown Prince confronted extremism and terrorism, while reviving religious discourse in the Kingdom and formulating a new image of true, moderate Islam.

The film makes mention of mega-projects implemented in Saudi Arabia, such as the ancient city of Al-Ula and the giant Neom project to serve tourists and visitors – the Riyadh season, Hajj and Umrah services and other projects that contribute to an urban renaissance accomplished by Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
