Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamae on Wednesday met with a delegation from BSH International (one of International Robert Bosch Group companies) to discuss the company’s expansion strategy in the Egyptian market.
During the meeting, headed by Louis Alvarez, CEO of BSH Home Appliances – Egypt, Gamae reviewed the company’s new project in Egypt for the manufacture of household appliances in 10 Ramadan City to meet the needs of local and export markets in the Middle East and Africa.
Gamae affirmed the government’s keenness to attract more global industrial investments and expertise to the Egyptian market to increase economic growth, upgrade national industry, improve the quality and competitiveness of Egyptian industrial products, and create more job opportunities.
She pointed out that the company’s new project in Egypt will contribute to the localisation of German industrial technologies in the field of household appliances in the Egyptian market.
