EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering carried out a complete overhaul of the Turkish ULS Air Cargo Airbus A330 aircraft in the first technical cooperation between the two companies, within the framework of the marketing plan of EgyptAir to open new markets and attract more customers
Pilot Amr Aboul-Enein, Chairman of EgyptAir, said that there is a strategy to enter new markets in the various services provided by EgyptAir subsidiaries in order to market these services to a larger base of customers, increase profits and compete with major companies, explaining that the Turkish market is one of these markets especially given the geographical proximity.
Engineer Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering, explained that this is the first technical cooperation with ULS, and it is expected that cooperation will continue during the coming period.
Zakaria added that the technical crews carried out a complete overhaul, in coordination with Airbus, the aircraft manufacturer, and some repairs to the aircraft’s engines were also carried out.
