Egypt has strongly condemned the storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by dozens of Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, warning that such repeated violations undermine the sanctity of religious sites and threaten regional security and stability.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday, Egypt denounced the recurrence and escalation of these provocative actions, describing them as a flagrant violation of international law and an infringement upon the sanctity of places of worship.
It reiterated its unequivocal rejection of any attempts to impose a temporal or spatial division of Al-Aqsa Mosque or alter its established historical and legal status.
The statement also called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities by taking effective action to put an end to these repeated violations and prevent further escalation and tensions across the region.
