Egypt on Sunday strongly condemned continued attacks on Saudi Arabia, including attempts to target its cities and interests, most recently the launch of two ballistic missiles towards Riyadh.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptians Abroad, Egypt described the attacks as a flagrant violation of international law and Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and security, warning that they represent an escalation and a direct threat to civilians.
Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all measures taken to defend its security and sovereignty, protect its citizens and safeguard its interests.
