Egypt will switch to winter time in the early hours of Friday, October 30, as daylight saving time ends at the close of Thursday.
Clocks will be set back by 60 minutes at midnight, from 12am to 11pm, in line with the law regulating daylight saving time.
The change comes at the end of the last Thursday of October, the date set by law for returning to standard time, after around six months of daylight saving time, which began in April.
