Menzies committee holds final talks with Nasser in Cairo

September 10, 1956 — President Gamal Abdel Nasser held a final twenty-five-minute meeting last night with members of the Menzies Five-Nation Committee. Australian Prime Minister Robert Menzies joined the discussions, which concluded ahead of further international consultations regarding the Suez Canal crisis.
