Egypt denounced on Tuesday Israeli air raids on Abu al‑Duhur military airport in Idlib province, describing them as a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a breach of international law and the UN Charter.
The Foreign Ministry stressed Egypt’s outright rejection of Israel’s continued attacks on Syrian territory, warning that such actions represent a dangerous escalation undermining efforts to stabilise Syria and the wider region.
Egypt called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in halting repeated Israeli violations and ending the policy of imposing faits accomplis by force, in order to contain the cycle of escalation and support regional stability.
