Egypt’s First Lady Intissar El Sisi, congratulated Egyptian athlete Assel Osama on winning a gold medal at the World Athletics U20 Championships.
“Congratulations to our champion daughter, Assel Osama, on winning the gold medal at the World Athletics U20 Championships, in a historic achievement added to the honourable record of Egyptian women,” she wrote on Facebook.
“Congratulations to Aseel, her family and all Egyptians. Egypt’s daughters are always a source of pride and inspiration,” she added.
