Minister of State for Military Production Salah Suleiman Gomblat witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the ministry and the Federation of Egyptian Industries, represented by Chairman Mohamed El-Sewedy. The agreement aims to maximize the use of the ministry’s training, manufacturing, and technological capabilities to qualify skilled labor and support the industrial sector.
Gomblat emphasized that the protocol reflects President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and leverage national resources in line with Egypt’s National Industrial Strategy (2026–2030). He highlighted the ministry’s advanced companies, research institutions, and training facilities—including applied technology schools, a technological college, and specialized laboratories—that contribute to technical education and workforce development.
Under the protocol, the ministry will provide training programs, workshops, and technical support for industrial workers, students, and graduates, while sharing data on trained personnel to meet private sector needs. Cooperation will also extend to joint research, information systems, and industrial events.
El-Sewedy praised the ministry’s role in supporting national industry, noting that the partnership will help prepare qualified technical cadres with modern skills, enhance productivity, and boost competitiveness. Both sides agreed to form a joint committee to oversee implementation and ensure the protocol achieves its objectives.
