New El Alamein International Airport officially kicked off its summer season by welcoming its first flight from the Romanian carrier, TAROM.
The inaugural flight arrived carrying 179 passengers, marking a significant expansion in the airport’s international flight network and signaling a busy season ahead for the region.
The launch of this new route reflects the surging popularity of New El Alamein and the wider North Coast. As international demand for Egyptian coastal destinations continues to climb, this connection solidifies the area’s reputation as a premier luxury and leisure hub on the Mediterranean.
TAROM will maintain a steady presence throughout the summer, operating weekly flights between Romania and El Alamein. This consistent schedule is expected to significantly boost inbound tourism, catering directly to a growing interest among Romanian travelers eager to experience the city’s modern attractions and vibrant entertainment offerings.
