Egyptian Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister El Sayyed el-Quseir discussed with researchers of the Agriculture Research Centre ways of enhancing the production of olive, sugarcane, dates and oil crops.
The minister, meanwhile, discussed with officials at the Sugar Crops Research Institute ways to upgrade work progress at a national project for sugarcane production by seedlings.
Quseir said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gives prior attention to the project and issued his directives to press ahead with the implementation of the venture, with a view to finalising it.
