Russia has no intention of attacking any country, a Russian Embassy statement on Sunday.

The US and its allies are evacuating their diplomats and citizens from Ukraine under a false threat of Russian attack, the statement said.

“Apparently these countries themselves are willing to do some sort of military provocation against Russia,” the statement went on.

“Weapons are being continuously supplied to Kyiv by NATO. Ukrainian troops and mercenaries gathered on the border with our country, notably in Crimea and on the border with the People’s Republic of Donetsk and the People’s Republic of Luhansk,” the statement added.

“Washington, which is rapidly losing its influence in the world, seeks to restore its former domination and push Kiev to start a war against Russia in order to serve American geopolitical interests,” the statement said.

“We hope that the brotherly Ukrainian people understand that they are being used in a strange game and should cease to be a puppet in the hands of the West.

“We also expect our Egyptian friends to notice the hypocrisy of NATO, which tries to conceal its aggressive intentions behind statements about its ‘defensive goals’ and that NATO operations serving to fulfill US ambitions will lead to global conflict,” the statement said.
