Pilot Ahmed Adel, Chairman and Executive Managing Director of EgyptAir Holding Company, has honored Accountant Sherif Abdel Galil, the former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EgyptAir Holding Company, on the occasion of his retirement. The ceremony was held in recognition of his long-standing career and significant contributions to the organization.
Abdel Galil currently serves as the Chairman of the Misr Aswan Tourism Company.
The honoring ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Accountant Mohamed Heiba, Chairman of the Financial Holding Company (affiliated with the Ministry of Civil Aviation); Accountant Ahmed Abdel Rahim, CFO of EgyptAir Holding Company; and Accountant Amer Hamdy, Head of Financial Affairs at EgyptAir Airlines. The event also saw the attendance of various department heads and numerous representatives from the financial divisions.
Sherif Abdel Galil has held a variety of prominent leadership positions throughout his career, including:
- Financial Manager for the company’s New York office.
- General Manager of Financial Affairs for both EgyptAir Airlines and EgyptAir Cargo.
- Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EgyptAir Holding Company.
He continues his service to the sector in his current role as Chairman of Misr Aswan Tourism.
