Kirti Vardhan Singh stressed the remarkable development in bilateral relations between Egypt and India.
This came during the foreign minister’s reception Thursday of the Indian official to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two ministers emphasized their keenness to continue intensifying efforts to strengthen cooperation across various fields, reflecting the level of strategic relations between Egypt and India, particularly at the economic, trade, and investment levels, in order to fulfill the aspirations of both peoples in light of the historical ties and shared interests linking them.
The ministers also expressed their aspiration to hold the 14th round of political consultations between the two countries in Cairo next February at the level of assistant foreign ministers, in addition to convening the 8th session of the Joint Committee, co-chaired by the foreign ministers of both countries, in Cairo in June 2026.
They stressed the importance of establishing a bilateral business council and creating an Egyptian-Indian Chamber of Commerce.
