Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badaway Thursday inaugurated a promotional session for investment in Egypt’s mining sector held on the sidelines of an international mining conference taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The session featured the participation of heads of Egypt’s mining companies, who presented the new vision aimed at creating an attractive investment environment.
During the session, Badawy outlined the reforms and incentives being implemented by Egypt, along with the investment opportunities available in the mining sector, addressing investors and representatives of global companies attending the conference.
Egypt has transitioned from a phase of intentions to actual implementation in developing the mining sector, adding that Egypt is presenting investors with a clear future vision for the sector, along with practical steps to remove investment barriers.
