Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El-Din Mostafa paid a surprise visit to Qaha Company for Chemical Industries (Military Factory 270), during which he inspected the submersible pump production plant and its testing area Monday.
These pumps are being produced for the first time in Egypt through co-operation between several companies affiliated with the ministry.
Qaha Company for Chemical Industries assembles and tests the pumps, then delivers them to the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities under the framework of a signed protocol for the supply of submersible pumps.
During his visit, the minister toured the company’s production lines, from the raw material inputs to the final products.
The company is equipped with modern machinery and a highly trained workforce, producing a range of military products for the Armed Forces.
Additionally, the company utilizes surplus production capacity to manufacture civilian products.
Qaha Company for Chemical Industries also contributes to many water-related infrastructure projects, including water treatment, purification, desalination plants, and canal lining, as well as participating in projects under the presidential initiative “Decent Life.”
The minister listened to a presentation by Board Chairman of Qaha Company for Chemical Industries Moaz El-Din Ahmed Ismail, which included data on production rates, performance during recent periods, inventory status, production inputs, updates on ongoing projects, and steps taken to implement development plans.
