CAIRO – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has extended his heartfelt condolences over the passing of his colleague Ali el-Moselhi, former Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, praising Moselhi as a steady hand in times of crisis.

Moselhi passed away on Tuesday following a long and distinguished career in public service.

Madbouli expressed deep sorrow at the loss, noting that Moselhi had earned the nation’s respect and appreciation for the significant efforts he made in every position he held.

The prime minister described the late minister as an exemplary public servant, committed, patriotic, and devoted to advancing the interests of the nation.

He pointed out to Moselhi’s pivotal role in enhancing the performance of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade during his tenure, underlining the tangible improvements made under his leadership.

Madbouli praised Moselhi’s demonstrated competence in managing complex challenges, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the ministry maintained effective planning, crisis response, and strategic supply management under his guidance.
