An international conference on Syria due to be held in Paris later Thursday is meant to coordinate regional and international efforts to support the transitional phase in Syria.
The conference comes after Aqaba meeting on December 14 in 2024 and Riyadh meeting on January 12 in 2025 to coordinate regional and international efforts concerning the situation in Syria and support a comprehensive political operation that guarantees maintaining stability, unity and security of Syria and meets the aspirations of the Syrians.
Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty will take part in the event where he will meet with a number of his counterparts to discuss means to boost bilateral relations and exchange visions on a number of regional issues of mutual interest.
Numerous regional and international foreign ministers, including the Syrian one, are due to attend the event.
The agenda of the conference will focus on political transition, humanitarian aid, and rebuilding the Arab state.
